Gender and Inclusion

Every child deserves a quality education. It is the surest path out of poverty and towards a fairer Congo.

Quality education for all

Yet across the DRC, girls face unequal access to school, violence on the way there, early marriage and child labour. When they are left out, so are our future leaders.

Women, girls and everyone at risk of exclusion acting with integrity, demanding it, and building an open, accountable Congo that answers their needs.

Our approach

Since 2017, through Students Acting for Honesty, Integrity and Equality, we have campaigned for SDG 4 (quality education) and SDG 5 (gender equality).

We mobilise parents, decision-makers and opinion leaders to get every girl into school, including girls living with a disability.
